RUGGED CONSTRUCTION The chassis of the JB-LKM1U466 is very rugged and built of high-grade steel with very few plastic components. In fact, it has been designed and manufactured to military grade specifications; which assumes the unit will be dropped from airplanes. On the ground or in transit, the JB-LKM1U466 keyboard withstands exposure to extreme temperatures, liquid ingress, dust, sand, salt, fungus, shock and vibration.
SECURITY: The JB-LKM1U466 comes with a key lock that will prevent unauthorized users from being able to extend the unit out of a computer cabinet and into a usable position. When unlocked, users simply press the button to release the unit and extend it to a usable position.
EASY TO INSTALL: Installation of the JB-LKM1U466 is easy enough that one person can do it. After removing packaging, install the two slide arms, which are included. Then slide the main body of the unit into the slide arms. Connect the cabling arm to the slide arm and connect cables to either a computer or a KVM unit. Plug in the unit. It's that simple.
EASY TO USE: The JB-LKM1U466 fully extends 2 out of the computer cabinet. This allows users to extend it far enough out of the computer cabinet to clear all other computers when flipping up the LCD display. The LCD display folds up and down to the users' preferred angle. A nice feature of this unit is integrated cable management. The JB-LKM513-8P is designed with a cable arm that slides back and forth as the main unit is extended and retracted from the cabinet. Cables, such as power, video and mouse, are attached to the cable arm via nylon cable ties. This means that cables never become entangled in, or damaged by, the movement of the main body.
