Mao Xie (Hairy Crab) tea originates from Anxi County, Fujian Province. It belongs to clone tea species, lobus centralls category and intermediate shoot sort. It features half-open tree performance, dense branches, elliptic leaf profile with needle-shaped lead tip, green leaf color, crisp leaf quality, sharp serrated denticle like the mouth of eagle, and abundant flosses on the leaf back and leaf bud. Easy to implant and with the strong drought-defying capability, Mao Xie tea is one of the four famous teas in Anxi.
