  • Tokyo stocks went down Wednesday morning.

    The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average dropped 36.51 points, or 0. 28 percent, to 12,828.54 from Tuesday.

    The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange lost 6.31 points, or 0.51 percent, to 1,229. 23.
