Hangzhou Zhiwei Foods Co., Ltd. was founded as a joint venture in 1993. It was certified (Certificate No. 3300/03001) by the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing in 1994.

　　In 2000, supported by its shareholders. Hangzhou Zhiwei Foods Co., Ltd. undertook substantial reorganization and new equipment was brought in to expand the product line. The company merged with Glory Light International Co., Ltd. that brought in new visions and management expertise. The company focuses on export business and the major product include Japanese and Western style frozen food, Chinese dim sum. Meat and marine products. The products are prepared in various ways such as stem, cook, fly, deep fry or bake with the nature of good taste, nutritional superiority, preservation of health, handiness and home-cooked flavor.

　　To make products that meet international standards, after studying the experiences of many foreign state-of-the-art food manufacturers and the strict requirements of some Japanese companies, we carefully designed the equipment layout and the workflow of our production facility so as to eradicate cooked/uncooked cross contamination among production staff, equipment and operation areas. At the same time we put in place strict policies and procedures that ensure stringent and effective controls over foreign objects and bacteria throughout the production process.

　　◎Our product facility has over 100 pieces baking, vegetable processing, dough processing, cutting and mixing, meat processing, slicing, injecting, metal detecting, X-ray, smoking (with automatic temperature recorder), steaming and boiling equipment.

　　We buy meat only from factories that are certified by CIQ and require complete set of certification document for their products. All vegetables we use are bought from our designated farms whose soil, farming procedures, selection and application of pesticides are under strict supervision by our company throughout the growing season. Both the meat and the vegetables used by our company meet the requirements of the importing countries. We firmly believe that first class products come from first class raw materials. Accordingly, all of our raw materials go through strict inspections both at the source and at our factory. Raw materials that do not meet our standards are returned to the supplies without exception. All inspection results are used as basis for continuous grading of our suppliers. Any supplier whose accumulated grade does not meet our standards will be dropped. The water source for the factory is also effectively protected. We only use tap water that is periodically monitored for residual chlorine. All water sources have filters installed. Important water sources have double filters. Wastewater undergoes biological processing before being pumped into municipal wastewater system.

Our workflow consists of:

Raw material procurement->Raw material inspection->Raw material cleaning and washing->Raw material selection and preprocessing->Processing and Shaping->Heating->Cooling->Speed freezing->Inspection and QA->Freezing storage->Sales.

　　We adapted ISO9002 and HACCP quality control standards. Based on the workflow, we established complete quality control models. We conducted damage analysis of each component of the production process of each product in accordance with system requirement. We accurately identified all key control points and established strict controls at each key point over the process. Accordingly, we established inter-department operation models based on horizontal communications and intra-department vertical operation guide and record keeping. In the past two years, we have passed numerous inspections by major Japanese companies.

　　In order to adapt to the constantly market requirements, and to develop new products or to adjust existing product ones, we have established a research lab that boasts many researching engineers with both broad product knowledge and rich operation experiences. This provided us with strong new product development capabilities that meet ht demands for a product’s flavor, texture and shape from our customers.
