HAVECO was established in 1996 with registered capital of 200.01 million RMB. It covers an area of 33660㎡ and owns 443 employees, including 32% of the total are graduated from junior college or above degree.

HAVECO is not only a provincial advanced enterprise with foreign investment, but also a specialized production factory on transmissions for car, light passenger car and truck. HAVECO is a self-support import&export base in China and ranks the top on size and integrated power against the same industry in Zhejiang Provice. The leading products of HAVECO are: IVECO “S” series, Chery “QR”series and HAVECO self-developed “H” series, mainly match with NAVECO Ltd., Italy IVECO S.p.A, Brazil IVECO, Chery Automobile, Wuxi Auto-body Co., Ltd., Chongqing Lifan Passenger Car etc. auto factories, and also export to Europe, South America and Mid-East.

It sets up offices in Nanjing, Wuhu, Chongqing, Hainan and Hangzhou and sets up special repair shops in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Wuhan, Beijing and Hubei.

Through gradually technical reform, HAVECO has possessed full functions of product development, measuring test, financial affairs by computer transaction and computer center; form a system with die-cast of aluminum alloy, mechanical machining, heat treatment and assembly line. Passel of import equipments and measuring&test devices lay a foundation for high-qualified products available. In 2000, the company passed ISO9000 quality system certificate, and in 2003 passed Germany TUV ISO/TS16949 system certificate. At present, it has formed production capacity with 250000 sets/year.

Cooperating with Italy Magneti Marelli Holding S.p.A and Chery Automobile on developing AMT mechanical automatic transmission which has achieved batch production in 2005. This is the first type of mechanical automatic transmission coming into market in China. In 2006, 20000 sets were put into market. In 2007, base on manual transmission (MT) and Automatic Mechanical Transmission (AMT), HAVECO will cooperate with science&technology research institutes of domestic and overseas to develop dual-clutch automatic transmission and achieve self-surpported developing and designing ability.
