The company lies in Songjiazhuang in the south of Beijing, 12km from Tian Anmen Square. It covers an area of 178858.64 square meters. Under the parent company there are four joint ventures (Red Lion Coatings International Company Ltd., APA-Red Lion Waterborne Coatings (Beijing) Company Ltd., Dupont-Red Lion (Beijing) Coatings Company Ltd. and Red Lion-Dura Coil Coatings Company Ltd.) and one comprehensive trade company (Beijing Red Lion Huatian Trade Company Ltd.). At present, there are 1029 employees in the company. With twenty-six production lines for coatings and four production devices for resin (including five sets of advanced technical equipment imported from the U.S., Japan, Austria etc.), the annual production capacity for coatings and resin reaches 70,000 tons.

The company has advanced process equipment and solid technical forces. Since the 1980's, it started to introduce new production technologies from Japan (alkyd resin), U.S. (premium architectural coatings and coil coatings), Austria (automotive primer) and Europe & America (truck topcoat and car topcoat) in the form of technology license and establishing JV with foreign enterprises.
