DBGC came from the Dalian Refrigeration Works established in 1930. As the first listed company in China's refrigeration industry, Dalian refrigeration Works issued its A-share in the ShenZhen Stock Exchange and was renamed to be Dalian Refrigeration Co., Ltd accordingly in 1993. Based on the Dalian Refrigeration Co., Ltd, Bingshan Group Co., Ltd was founded in January, 1994.

The "Bingshan" brand refrigeration products have covered 80% market in Thailand and all the 10,000 tonnage cold stores in Hong Kong, which is accounted for over 80% of the total capacity of the cold stores there, were built by "Bingshan" refrigeration units.

DBGC was honored the prize of "Golden Horse" for enterprise management, and awarded "International Asia Cup", "International best Trademark" and other reputations, its products have been appraised as “Creditworthy Products” by China National Refrigeration Association and China National Consumer Protection Fund since 1993.
