In 2002,we invested US$ 482 million to set up a furniture industrial zone for USA market (called New Land Furniture Industrial Zone), which covers 4.5 square kilometer.

It is zoned for furniture manufacturing, accessories warehouse, and daily-life area for employees and air-dry yard for wood material. There are 450,000 cubic meter lumbers in stock, mainly oak, ash, elm, birch, poplar and pine.

The total building area is about 1.3 million square meter----manufacturing factories of 400,000 square meter with 30 finishing lines; furniture warehouse of 400,000 square meter; showroom of 100,000 square meter; accessories warehouse and other building of 400,000 square meter.

22,000 employees will be needed in this zone. The monthly capacity of the producing is about 5000 containers by 40'.
