The factory has more than 400 employees presently including 25% of skilled persons those consist of 15 senior engineers including three research fellows and 30 professional engineers for FRP boat whom have complete type of work in production and be well trained and skilled. 40 person-times were sent to Japan to be trained. The factory has a Ship Design Institute and Chemical Industry Institute which can design and develop all kinds of FRP Ship and other products by oneself.

This factory is only a fixed enterprise to manufacture FRP frontier patrol boat assigned by General Headquarters of equipment of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, it is a fixed enterprize to manufacture 982 WJ type of patrol boat assigned by Chinese People's Armed Police forces and it is also a fixed enterprize to manufacture 982 type patrol boat and 630 type motor boat assigned by General Bureau of frontier of Chinese Public Security Ministry.
