Since 2001, the Hailun company has invested heavily in Japanese digital equipment and production lines. Due to the efforts of the Hailun Company, the high-tech numerically controlled production has been successfully merged with the artistic and revolutionary assembly processes of the world renowned European piano tradition.

The upright and grand pianos made by the Hailun Company have received praise from international circles. As of today, 80% of Hailun's production is exported to Europe, Japan, and America.

As CCTV reported on February 7, 2005, it is clear that this Chinese-made piano has entered into the mainstream market in Europe with the quality of the instruments being up to European standards. On August 16, 2005, the European Chinese Association held a peace celebration . Wendl&Lung piano made by Hailun company was featured in the Golden Concert Hall in Vienna. This event was significant in that it was the first time a Chinese-made piano had been featured in the Viennese Golden Concert Hall.
