To set itself apart from the competition, Giant Wireless' growth strategy is to leverage on its Application and Design ("A&D") capabilities to developing wireless communications products which are positioned in the early growth stage of the product life cycle. Specifically, the Group has identified four key products as its growth drivers - Voice Over IP telephone ("VoIP"), Family Radio Services ("FRS"), Push to Talk mobile phone and the Satellite Radio. These products compliment Giant Wireless' strategy of developing integrated, wireless products by exploiting the convergence between telecommunications technology - particularly radio frequencies - and consumer electronics.
Additionally, the Group will continue to partner technology-intensive enterprises to develop, manufacture and distribute innovative products based on unique wireless technology.
The Group will also focus on further strengthening its global distribution network so as to market its products to an even wider audience.
Giant Wireless is focused on:-
New technology creations, and not manufacturing, as its future is dependent on how fast and how well it can launch new, innovative and quality products to the global market place.
Changes in the electronics and consumer lifestyle industry, and not pursue a reactive approach, as its strategy is to anticipate, invest, develop and market niche products that will become the main-stream products of tomorrow.
Long-term strategic partnerships, not short-term manufacturing orders, as the Company believes in looking for partners who can enhance technological capabilities and complement its strengths in manufacturing and distribution.
Higher margin business by concentrating on efforts in new technology creation and leveraging its wide distribution platform to distribute electronic products
Strengthening its presence in Europe and at the same time, further grow the US market share.
